About CRPF

Administration
Administration Directorate Administration Directorate is operating under the direction and the supervision from lG (Adm). They are assisted by DIG (Adm) and DIG (Welfare).
Personnel

The Medical Branch is functioning under the supervision of IG Director (Medical). He is assisted by 2 Dy. Director (Medical).
The Central Reserve Police Force ( CRPF) is India's largest Central Armed Police Force. It operates under the authority of part of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) of the Government of India. The main role of the CRPF is helping the State/Union territory by assisting police-related tasks that maintain peace and security as well in combating insurgency. It was established by virtue having been it was the Crown Rep's Police on the 27th July 1939.
